The technology for Next Gen TV AEA&I is being developed by a new association called the NextGen Video Information Systems Alliance (NVISA). By combining the resources of local TV news departments with the targeting capabilities of ATSC 3.0, a personalized alerting and urgent information service for consumers can be provided. On this panel, broadcast tech and news people involved with this initiative will talk about the technologies under development, implementation plans, and the potential for AEA&I to become a motivator for Next Gen TV consumer acceptance.
